our world-class
photographers do their stuff in the background where they are not
noticed, and where it is easier
to infiltrate the backwaters and hidden places where the substrata
of the rally roam about.
That certain anonymity of purpose enables them to get the most natural
photography, the most
truthful photojournalism of this American culture.
