Actually these are a perfect type of glasses for driving about on sunny days. They have little side protectors to reduce the amount of sunlight
entering the eyeball. Originally developed for snow and mountain travel at very high elevations, these are specialty glasses are excellent
for preventing snow blindness. It's unlikely you'll have to deal with snow this time of year unless you travel over to the Big Horns in Wyoming.
But even on the alkalai areas of the prairie the white soil reflects a great deal of light. And most importantly, one looks rather cool in them.
