Accident Report

Six Die During Bike Week

The final unfortunate but inevitable tally of six bikers die in Volusia County during Bike Week.

But, 2022 hosted many more bikers than pandemic connected 2021.

Halifax Health reported 163 trauma patients during the event. Of those, 75 were from motorcycle accidents and the remainder from other causes.

Six Fatalities - down from 8 during 2021 Bike Week last year.

Florida Highway Patrol...28 crashes

FHP reported working on 28 motorcycle crashes this year.
