Rally - It's a big One
STURGIS
- (Copyright 2002 Sturgis Top 10) Well, it looks like
a big one this year. The Sturgis Rally is the only
time of the entire year when there is anything even
resembling a traffic jam in South Dakota.
And here in the western half of the state, there are
times when you never even see a car.
But the backup on I-90 was Denver-like this afternoon.
Bikes and cars were creeping along by the time you
got to north of Piedmont. And that's more than 10
miles away fro Sturgis.

good looking women at Sturgis this year?
Seems
that way. We'll wait until things get in full swing
before we start collecting opinions.
It's usually hot in August, even in the Black Hills.
So, a lot of skin comes out. Today was perfect weather
- in the 80s with cloud cover most of the day.

Exhibitionists on the Sturgis Main Drag
We've
mentioned that the Sturgis Main drag is the best place
for people watching you will ever find.
There
are more oddballs, or perhaps one might be polite
and say characters, here than anyplace between New
York and San Francisco. The full assortment are coming
out this year.
Tomorrow
is the much touted Buffalo Bash in Rapid City. We'll
give our opinion on it, of course.
We
