On a hike through
is this black couple who have arrived. In the back is the spuds truck,
one of the hundreds of more
food vendors who come here with an idea of selling a great deal of
grub and making a pile of money. Some do. Others
don't do enough to even meet expenses, and in fact lose money. The
competition for the dollar is quite keen here
because there are stories of some who make huge amounts. And that
brings out the greed, making this a very
American event, indeed.
