Many of the black
rose tattoos grow in the fertile environment of a motorcycle rally.
This one at
Sturgis is a quite large variety, obviously supplied with plentiful
nutrients to take on the deep
and dark sheen which is characteristic of this particular variety.
It is of a dark nature that
one finds an attraction in such a flower. Like parts of life, it is
beautiful and yet forbidding
at the same time.
