People Arrive

The new arrivals are folks that come to Sturgis for the first time. And there are a lot of them every
year. It is kind of the mecca for bikers, so everyone wants to attend at least once. But many come
back every single year, with some veterans going to this rally for decades. That's why the numbers
are so high ever year - running upwards to a half a million, which makes this by far the biggest city
in the state for about 10 days. It's a cultural phenomenon.
