Keeping quite
warm on the noggin with Von Dutch hats, which aren't all that commonly
seen here. One of the things
that makes it a bit more difficult to pack for the rally is the huge
variation in weather. It might very well be hot and
sunny the entire event. But it certainly isn't uncommon to turn cold,
and by that I mean rainy and in the 50s. This is
actually the northern Rocky Mountains, with weather that one might
expect at elevations that go higher than a mile.
It has snowed in September, so it's best to be ready.
