The Cotton Eye
Joe character of real life takes a look at some clothing of the fabric
of choice. It's true that leather is
a big deal here, but for hot weather survival there is one choice
that beats almost all others, and that is the fabric
from the plant which grows the white fiber. It has been used for thousands
of years and was at least partially
responsible for a civil war in the United States. One of the highest
quality types comes from Egypt,
the long staple. It produced long and strong strands used in some
of th finest clothing.
