The frizzy hair look, or birds' nest hair, as some like to call it. It's perfect for riding a bike because it flaps in the wind, it merely
frizzes it up even more, which is the whole idea, I suppose. It gives that somewhat wild and unmanagable look, and that is
not altogether unappealing for some people. Riding with a 70 mph wind racing across every part of a person isn't exactly
ideal for those who like to have absolutely everything in place. And on the Plains during summer, even when you're standing
on the side of the road, there is often a wind coming through.
