buffalo chips

A rather fascinating cultural experience is this. The buffalo chips fly all over the place during August as some of the top bands in the world
travel to The Chip to take part in what can only be described as a one-of-a-kind wildness. This unlikely spot is poised out on the prairie
where not too many years earlier the U.S. Calvary was riding about on horses trying somewhat unsuccessfully to keep the local
Lakota population subdued. The calvary is gone, now and the Lakotas remain. And the nights at this place are a free-for-all.
