The many jean jackets are still worn here in great quantities. They are a link to the Western heritage of
this area, perhaps. Or, maybe it's just part of the American culture which so deeply pervades the entire
scene at Sturgis each summer. They don't work properly if they are new. They must be well used or even
in dilapidated condition, which you must make sure to take care of in your own way, so each rip and
tear will have the proper memories.
