These types of motorcycle half helmets are lighter that the standard ones. They also leave the ear open so you can hear more,
whether is is the roar of a bike, or the tweeting of a small bird alighting on the handlebars in a gesture of friendship to
the burly biker. Sometimes animals show a particular fondness for bikers, except for when they get in front
of the tires of a bike going 70 mph down the interstate. Then, a helmet is a good idea.
