All those who were raised on the open range, or a little backwoods
farm somewhere in a remote corner of rural America will recognize
a pair of fence fixing gloves when they see them. Yellowish leather
is the norm. And often they aren't of the highest quality, but are rather
stiff and you must stuff your hand into them like a snake getting
into its skin.
